Carpet is a textile floor covering consisting of an upper layer of pile attached to a backing. It can be made from wool or man-made materials.

There are different types of carpets to choose from: Woven carpet- produced on loom, one of the highest qualities of carpet available. Disadvantages of Carpets includes: special care when maintaining and cleaning. It can produce mold, mildew and moisture prone (though some commercial carpets are developed to have resistance properties)

How to Maintain Flotex Flocked Flooring:

• Vacuum high traffic areas daily. Tip: Vacuum action should be FAST forward and SLOW backward.
• In case of spillage, identify the type of spill and react immediately to avoid staining. Use the Spot cleaning method by using the “Scrape, Scrub and Rinse” procedure.
• Avoid chemical and detergent residue buildups to maintain original appearance.
• Flotex has a built in anti microbial properties but still regular cleaning and care is required. A floor care program or routine should be developed.
